DESCRIPTION:Pack meetings are a regular opportunity for the entire Pack 501 community to gather\, recognize achievements\, and engage in activities. Held monthly during the school year\, these meetings are an essential part of the Scouting program and help keep everyone informed and connected. \nTypical Pack Meeting Agenda: \n 1. Opening Ceremony: Includes a flag ceremony and recitation of the Scout Oath and Law. \n2. Announcements and Updates: Information about upcoming events\, outings\, and activities. \n3. Awards and Recognition: Presentation of badges\, belt loops\, and other achievements earned by Scouts. \n4. Activity or Presentation: A themed activity or presentation designed to engage Scouts and enhance their skills or knowledge. \nPack meetings are designed to provide a structured environment for recognition\, communication\, and participation in Scouting activities. Families are encouraged to attend and stay involved.

SUMMARY:Pack 501 Night at the Zoo
DESCRIPTION:Experience the zoo after dark on June 21st\, 2025! Join zoo experts for a private tour and discover which animals are getting ready for bed and which animals are just waking up. During the evening\, guests will explore the zoo on a guided night hike\, meet animal ambassadors\, and join in fun zoo-themed activities. Bring your sleeping bag for indoor\, climate-controlled\, camping and wake refreshed and ready for a taco breakfast. \nAfter the program ends\, you are welcome to continue your zoo adventure on your own for the remainder of the day. \nTickets are $82.50 per person and include admission\, programming\, pizza dinner\, evening snack\, taco breakfast\, and sleeping accommodations at the zoo. Pricing also includes processing fees. \nRegistration is now closed. \nWhat to bring \n\nPillow and sleeping bag or blanket\nAir mattress or sleeping pad\nComfortable walking shoes\nBasic toiletry items (showers are not available)\nChange of clothes for sleeping and the next day\n\nOptional items\n\nCamera\, reusable water bottle\, wagon\, cart or rolling suitcase to transport belongings. \nDo not bring \nTablets\, music\, video games\, other electronics\, food or drink\, weapons. \nArrival \nPlease arrive at 6pm on Saturday\, June 21st. \nParking \nWhen you arrive\, please go to the Education Center (to the right of Kiddie Park) to drop off belongings and wait for parking directions from zoo staff (about 6:15pm).
